Nomad started in 2016 when our founder, an apprentice saddler, got tired of watching backpacks die at the same two seams every eighteen months. The first run was 40 waxed-canvas rucksacks, sewn at a kitchen table, sold to people who still email photos of them on mountains.
Ten years later we run small batches out of a real workshop, repair anything we've ever made, and still design every bag around the seam that failed first.
